Creative Flow

I love when we can push the creativity during a shoot! Shariyah had a denim themed baby shower and wanted to incorporate that look into her maternity shoot. I started brainstorming and looking up ideas and saw a jean wall. Now, I've never attempted this before but you don't know what you can do until you try right :). This took traveling to the Goodwill to find jeans along with asking family and friends if they had any extras to donate. Funny thing is, I still had to be selective on the type of jeans. We wanted the backdrop to have dimension. I had to be mindful of the color and texture so that it wouldn't look flat. After cutting 30+ pairs of jeans and 5 hours of placing and glueing, the wall was done. I loved it! The end result is editorial worthy. I could definitely see it in a Gap or Calvin Klein ad. These types of shoots will never get old. It's trendy + timeless.
